You know Pretty Lady grapes are delicious, that your shoppers can’t get enough of them. But, do you ever wonder why? As with many superior products, the Pretty Lady story begins with the passion of a single person, followed by the passion of the children who grew up steeped in the family business. The unbelievable deliciousness of everything Pretty Lady is a little less mysterious when you know the origin of these beautiful vine-ripened jewels. We hope you’ll consider sharing this story with your shoppers.

The grapes we all know and enjoy were introduced to the world in 1979. J.P. Dulcich and Sons had officially arrived. Ever since then, J.P. Dulcich and Sons have been growing, packing, and shipping superior, non-GMO verified California Table Grapes. Pretty Lady Vineyards, Inc. is the marketing arm of J.P. Dulcich and sons, and is named for the Pretty Lady grape variety the company is known for.

Peter and Nick are the sons of company founder Jakov, and began learning the art of growing grapes around the time they learned to read and write. All operations remain family owned. Peter and Nick serve as co-owners and presidents and oversee growing, packing, shipping, and marketing. Peter directs farming operations; Nick directs marketing operations. The Dulcich brothers are industry leaders in innovative operations and design. You can learn more about Peter, Nick, and the entire Pretty Lady Vineyards team here.
