Pretty Pickled Grapes

Ingredients

  • 2 – 3 cups Red and Green Applause Grapes, washed and destemmed
  • 1¼ cups apple cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp pickling spice
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Directions

  1. Cut the grapes in half and place them in a jar (or divide evenly between multiple jars).
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the water, vinegar, sugar, pickling spice, and salt. Stir until the sugar and salt have fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the pickling liquid over the grapes. There may be extra liquid, but be sure to transfer all of the pickling spices into the jar.
  4. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to develop.
  6. Serve with burrata or cheese of your choosing and crackers.

Pickled grapes last for two-three weeks in the refrigerator.
